COI Insight stores account information, profile details, disclosure records, audit history, and generated disclosure outputs in order to operate the service.

Public profile pages may display information that a profile owner has chosen to claim and publish, as well as read-only public Open Payments data where no claimed profile exists.

Imported or externally sourced data should be treated as source material. Users can add context and corrections, but those edits are stored as auditable overrides rather than replacing the original source record.
